Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team at Liberty Mutual. As a Technical Consultant, you will provide consultative services to our customers within a loss prevention specialty area or territory. Your expertise will help us identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement service plans to control customer source of risk, losses, and costs.
  • Provide expert technical support to other loss prevention employees, advising them on resources, legislation, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with management to develop policies, procedures, and technical resources to support loss prevention services.
  • Participate in actively acquiring and retaining profitable business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, engineering, or related areas (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or progressive safety/health field.
  • Advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in a specialized field, service planning, and delivery, risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management, and progress measurement.
  • Fully effective interpersonal, writing, and other communication skills required to develop and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
