Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Continuous Improvement and Instructional Technology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the continuous improvement process, developing and implementing curriculum reviews, and managing instructional grants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support continuous improvement initiatives, including MICIP and Cognia
  • Write, manage, and oversee instructional grants
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and building principals to develop and supervise the district's curriculum review and adoption process
  • Facilitate a collaborative planning process to engage stakeholders in the adoption of a DK-12 academic curriculum
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and building principals on the implementation of new curriculum resources and classroom technology
  • Provide or organize professional development for instructional technology
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and building principals on the collection and use of data to drive instruction and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in the field of administration, with course work in educational leadership and/or curriculum instruction
  • Valid State of Michigan administrative certificate or ability to achieve certification per Department of Education requirements
  • Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate
  • Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience; successful principal or director experience, preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data and the use of data to guide instruction
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current educational issues and best practices
