As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.brbrh3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliSatisfy the transportation needs of used-vehicle purchasers by providing personalized sales experiences and ensuring a seamless buying process./liliApproach, greet, and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses./liliUnderstand the terminology of the automobile business and stay up-to-date on changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, and accessories./liliProvide thorough product information and demonstrations to all prospects, highlighting the benefits and features of each vehicle./liliOffer test drives to all prospects, following dealership procedures to obtain proper identification and ensuring a safe and enjoyable driving experience./liliExhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring that every customer leaves the dealership feeling valued and satisfied./liliUtilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems to track sales progress and identify opportunities for growth./liliKnow and understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales, ensuring compliance and adherence to all regulations./liliEstablish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals./liliKnow and understand equity and values, explaining depreciation to customers and ensuring a clear understanding of the vehicle's worth./liliEnsure that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer, providing a seamless handoff and ensuring a positive customer experience./liliTurn 100% of closed deals to the finance and insurance manager, presenting properly completed paperwork and ensuring a smooth transition./liliPrepare sold vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring all features are operational and the vehicle is clean and ready for handover./liliDeliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork./liliIntroduce customers to service department personnel, emphasizing the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department./liliSchedule first service appointments and follow up on all post-delivery items, ensuring all customer expectations are met./liliMaintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business, contributing to customer satisfaction./liliMaintain a prospect development and follow-up system, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring a consistent sales pipeline./liliWork with the service department and body shop to ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned on schedule, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail./liliAttend sales meetings, staying informed and up-to-date on sales strategies, product knowledge, and dealership initiatives./liliHelp with the used-vehicle inspection process, ensuring accurate and thorough inspections and maintaining a high level of quality control./liliHelp keep the used-vehicle department neat and clean, maintaining a professional and organized workspace./liliMaintain a professional business appearance, adhering to dealership dress code and presentation standards./liliWrite complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail./liliReview and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year, determining how to better utilize time and plan more effectively./liliOther tasks as assigned./li/ulbrh3Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
