Position Summary

This position is accountable for route scheduling, managing daily operations, and supervising staff to ensure that all transportation services are delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Driver Oversight and Training:**
- Lead a team of drivers, offering direction, support, and mentorship.
- Facilitate monthly meetings and training sessions to ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
- Evaluate driver performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and assign schedules for the transportation team.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of drivers and vehicles to ensure compliance with company protocols.
- Address complaints and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions.
- Provide coverage for routes as necessary.
2. **Route Development and Efficiency:**
- Create and maintain effective transportation routes and schedules for school and NEMT services.
- Continuously refine routes to reduce travel time, fuel consumption, and enhance punctuality.
- Modify routes in response to changes in student demographics or traffic conditions.
- Act as a liaison to ensure satisfactory service delivery.

Qualifications ( Requirements)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL - School Bus, Passenger Endorsement
- 5+ years of professional driving experience
