The Tuxedo Club is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences and providing top-notch service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Take food and drink orders from tables in your assigned section
    • Assist housemen and runners in setting up buffets and food stations
    • Conduct wine and coffee service in proper fashion
    • Direct backwaiters to aid in proper service
  • Event Support
    • Read, understand and execute Event Orders
    • Follow checklists and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Member and Guest Interaction
    • Greet Members and Guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
    • Bring hospitality to every interaction
  • Teamwork and Adaptability
    • Assist other departmental staff members when needed
    • Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties complying with Tuxedo Club's Events' operational standards
  • Qualifications and Requirements
    • 1 year experience as a server/waitstaff
    • Knowledge of POS systems (JONAS) preferred
    • Basic knowledge of DOH regulations
    • Team player with positive attitude and excellent communication skills with attention to detail
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Energetic and professional
    • Possesses a passion for exceeding member expectations with a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality member and guest experience
    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

As a Server, you may be in a full-time or part-time hourly position. It is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   • May need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100lbs
  • Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at a time
  • Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury
