Key Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant:
  • Commit to communicating, enhancing, and adhering to safety protocols in all work settings.
  • Manage financial closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist in the preparation and support of budgets, forecasts, and audits.
  • Conduct standard and ad hoc analyses for management review.
  • Provide analytical insights to support critical business decisions.
  • Generate monthly reporting.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to monitor, document, and reconcile daily performance and production metrics.
  • Offer guidance to ensure effective internal controls within the district.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain consistency in accounting/statutory reporting and product line reporting.
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly management reports.
  • Engage with district personnel for accounting support.
  • Coordinate with Division and Corporate support teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional designation preferred (CPA or CMA).
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, Blackline, Mpower, Planning Analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in manufacturing or construction materials is advantageous.
  • Strong capability to work independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven expertise in financial and business analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Knowledge of GAAP.
