Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Attorney to work part-time (10-30 hours per week) in a remote capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting impartial and thorough investigations into workplace complaints, allegations of misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related matters.

This role involves collaboration with clients, HR professionals, and legal teams to gather and analyze evidence, interview relevant parties, and provide comprehensive investigative reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and allegations of misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related matters.
  • Interview complainants, witnesses, and subjects of investigations to collect relevant information.
  • Review documents, policies, and procedures related to each case.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active state bar membership required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience conducting employment investigations or employment litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional interviewing, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and client acquisition.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality throughout investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
