We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Baldwin Risk Partners. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of client accounts, including policy review, changes and updates, contract reviews, and financial statements related to the client's insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Manage client accounts, including policy review, changes and updates, contract reviews, and financial statements related to the client's insurance.
- Carrier Relationships: Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate carrier relationships.
- Client Communication: Maintain client files in AMS accurately and consistently, and responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all in accordance with company workflows, procedures, and best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Manage client inquiries and work with insurance partners and/or internal teams to resolve client issues.
- Knowledge and Skills: Responsible for knowing the requirements and attributes of all insurance company partners while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company and their resources.
- Service Delivery: Coordinate service delivery for accounts as assigned, including developing initial placement/renewal strategy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on regulatory changes.
- Special Projects: Complete special projects as assigned.
- Process Improvement: Continually seek opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes. Bring issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership.
- Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to colleagues as requested.
- Experience: At least 4 years' of related insurance experience, or associated industry experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licenses: Obtain and maintain a state insurance license(s), as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in states where the firm functions (or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment).
