Job Overview

InReach is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to support adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in finding and maintaining employment in the Charlotte area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals in searching for jobs, following up on job leads, and networking with employers
  • Support customers in all aspects of job seeking, including resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation
  • Provide on-the-job training and support to help customers maintain employment
  • Help customers explore new interests and pursue socialization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality
Requirements
  • One-year experience working with Supported Employment/Job Coach for I/DD & Special populations
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to provide customer transportation using your vehicle
