Job Title: Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team at Evolver. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain database security protocols to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high levels of availability and scalability.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data protection and quick recovery.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure database compatibility and performance.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
  • 5 years of experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
  • 5 years of experience with high-availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups and SQL Clustering.
  • 3 years of experience with Azure SQL Server Managed Instances or Azure SQL Server.
  • 3 years of experience with database migration tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and recovery models.
  • Experience with high-availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups and SQL Clustering.
  • Proficient in database monitoring tools, including Foglight and SQL Server Profiler.
  • Proficiency with T-SQL for querying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

The annual salary range for this position in San Francisco Bay Area is between $140,000-$160,000 USD.
