Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused In Store Donation Attendant PT to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing donations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
  • Donation Processing: Politely and professionally receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts for articles donated, assist customers with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and make proper determination as to the quality of donations.
  • Hard Goods Pricing: Sort and price hard goods (wares).
  • Store Maintenance: Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of utilizing a barcode scanner.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position requires standing and walking for long periods of time, as well as the ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
