Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer Specialist to join our team at Advanced Systems Design in Montgomery, AL.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in database development, with expertise in SQL Server 2012 and later versions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and testing database solutions
  • Creating stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions
  • Developing SSIS ETL packages
  • Writing complex SQL queries
  • Maintaining and optimizing database performance

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, with a strong understanding of Agile process development and the System Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL databases, including SSIS
  • Experience with project development methodologies, such as Agile
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
