Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team at North Shore Community Health Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced community-based healthcare setting, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and internal customers
  • Screen patients according to established protocols, including height, weight, urine testing, hematocrits, vision testing, blood pressure, and PHQ-9
  • Prepare paperwork for referrals as needed
  • Provide translation services as required

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
  • Two years' experience in a community-based or ambulatory care setting
  • Completion or willingness to complete Basic Life Support training (CPR)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Location: Salem, Peabody, and Gloucester, MA
