Your Responsibilities:

This role within Invesco Mortgage Capital, Inc. entails supporting various financial reporting and operational finance tasks. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of SEC documentation
  • Ensuring precise accounting for investment transactions
  • Collaboration with internal teams for account reconciliations
  • Assistance with SOX compliance initiatives
  • Management of monthly expense reimbursements
  • Monitoring daily financial transactions
  • Support during audits and wire transfer processes
  • Generating ad hoc reports for senior leadership
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with SEC reporting or in public accounting is preferred
  • Background in the financial services sector is advantageous
  • CPA designation or candidacy is a plus
  • Strong communication skills are essential
