Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Consolidations to lead our financial reporting team at Global Accounting Network. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and transparency of our financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the financial reporting and consolidations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and dissemination of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the integrity of the company's consolidation and reporting systems, including ERP and financial software.
- Manage the preparation of consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the finance, accounting, and audit teams, to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and consolidation processes.
- Lead the development and implementation of internal controls to enhance the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation for and execution of external financial audits, including liaising with auditors, providing requested documentation, and addressing audit findings.
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance financial processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and consolidations, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.
- Previous leadership and management experience, including supervising and mentoring staff.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting software.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address financial reporting challenges.
