Job Summary
We are seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist to join our Long Beach Planning Practice. This role involves supporting the Labor Compliance Officer and ensuring compliance on public works projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and maintain compliance requirements for public works projects
- Conduct audits and investigations to identify and address any compliance issues
- Maintain project files and ensure all necessary documentation is up-to-date
- Prepare reports to track compliance progress and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in special projects as needed
Professional Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in Labor Compliance
- Knowledge of Labor Compliance policies and regulations
- Understanding of California Labor Code and its requirements
- Experience in payroll document audits and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
