Labor Compliance Specialist

Michael Baker International is seeking a skilled Labor Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Labor Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations on public works projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and verify certified payroll records, benefit statements, and apprenticeship paperwork to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Investigate complaints of noncompliance with prevailing wage payments, benefit payments, and apprenticeship violations.
- Monitor and report contractor-specific and project-wide Section 3 requirements and goals.
- Assist the Labor Compliance Officer in preparing reports to public agencies, federal and state government entities.
- Conduct onsite craftworker interviews and reconcile interview forms with applicable payrolls.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the Labor Compliance field.
- Understanding of Labor Compliance policies, procedures, and practices.
- Understanding of the California Labor Code pertaining to Public Works Projects.
- Experience in performing audits on certified payroll documents.
- Experience in working with LCP Tracker software is preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000-$80,000.
