As a Strategic Sourcing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement and sourcing, working closely with our team to support various initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, analyze their capabilities, and assess their suitability based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Data Collection and Management: Gather and organize data on supplier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to support sourcing decisions.
  • Cost Analysis: Assist in the analysis of cost structures and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement.
  • Coordinating Meetings: Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders and suppliers to discuss procurement initiatives and strategies.
  • RFQ/RFP Support: Assist in preparing and issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and support the evaluation of supplier responses.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Strategic Sourcing.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in data collection and management
  • Basic knowledge of procurement and sourcing principles
