Commercial Strategy and Operations Internship Opportunity

Join Wayfair's Commercial team as a Commercial Strategy and Operations Intern and contribute to the development of business-critical projects and initiatives. As an intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance your category project(s) through merchandising, promotions, marketing, on-trend product selection, effective pricing and profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data, trends, and use resources to improve the quality of our product catalog in order to increase customer satisfaction, trust, and site conversion rates;
  • Research categories and vendors to build out selection;
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advance your category project(s) through merchandising, promotions, marketing, on-trend product selection, effective pricing and profitability, and operational excellence;
  • Assist with the management of supplier relationships and support negotiation strategies to help push towards a best-in-class customer experience;
  • Leverage data to analyze the competitive environment, report on performance trends, and develop business cases for strategic initiatives;
  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or higher with the expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2025 and Summer 2026 with a 3.0 GPA minimum;
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship;
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from June 2 to August 8, 2025 in our Boston office;
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future.
