Paper Machine Controls Engineer Job Description

First Quality is seeking a highly skilled Paper Machine Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Controls Team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, evaluating, and improving the Paper Machine Controls System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Controls Team to identify and resolve issues with the Paper Machine Controls System.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to develop and implement Paper Machine Controls Systems associated with projects.
  • Partner with the Training team to develop and maintain the training system for Paper Machine controls team members.
  • Lead and manage Maintenance projects, MOC's, and RCA's to completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience as a Paper Machine Controls Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification or degree in Controls/Electrical components, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent data analyzing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think systematically and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
