Job Title: Esco Technician

The Esco Technician is a critical member of our production team at MICROBEST INC, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and quality of our Esco machines. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, precision measuring tools, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Setup and Maintenance: Prepare Esco machines for production by installing tools, dies, and fixtures, and adjust machine settings based on blueprints, work orders, and engineering instructions.
  • Tooling and Calibration: Select and install the appropriate tools and fixtures required for each job, calibrate machines to ensure accuracy and consistency, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process to ensure parts meet quality standards, work with quality inspectors to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and make adjustments to the machinery as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with production supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow, provide training and guidance to machine operators, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities, and document any changes or modifications made during the setup process.
Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up and operating Esco machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to use precision measuring tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 30 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
