Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Room Operator to join our team at Omega Enterprises. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling equipment components and emission data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control equipment performance to meet the needs and requirements of our paper machine within specified limits.
  • Conduct start-up and shut-down procedures, and adjust equipment performance as needed.
  • Identify and respond to critical operating conditions, and inform shift supervisors and subsequent shift leaders of any issues or deviations from normal operations.
  • Detect and address malfunctions to ensure safe operation, and conduct clearance procedures and start-ups.
  • Document all shift activities, including notable events, deviations, and malfunctions in the shift log.
  • Communicate with shift personnel regarding all aspects of equipment operation.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
