Overview:
We are in search of a proactive FSQA Manager to lead our food safety and quality assurance efforts, ensuring compliance and fostering continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and Lead: Spearhead the creation and execution of advanced food safety and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Ensure Audit Excellence: Perform comprehensive audits and inspections to uphold the highest standards within our facilities and processes.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee effective quality control from supplier to consumer.
  • Optimize Processes: Evaluate production workflows and lead projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Promote Best Practices: Conduct extensive training programs to cultivate a culture of food safety and quality excellence throughout the organization.
  • Investigate and Resolve Issues: Address customer feedback and internal challenges proactively, implementing effective corrective measures.
  • Prepare for Audits: Ensure thorough preparation and documentation for third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Mentor and Develop: Inspire and guide the FSQA team, fostering a commitment to ongoing improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years in food safety and quality assurance, including 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA) and industry standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Audit Experience: Practical experience in conducting audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong communication and leadership skills, with a talent for collaborative problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with quality management software and tools.
