Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Survey Department Manager to lead our team in Akron, Ohio. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the scope of work for survey and/or right of way projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing a team of surveyors and right of way specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in scope of work generation for survey and/or right of way projects
  • Perform scope review and QA/QC of surveys and right of way plans
  • Write technical proposals and negotiate price and scope
  • Manage and coordinate surveys and investigations, perform survey computations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements
  • Supervise and direct the Survey and Right of Way staff in Ohio
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Professional Land Surveyor License, Ohio
  • 5+ years of task and project management experience
  • Progressive background in field survey and Right of Way and/or Land Survey Plat development
