Job Summary

The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Radiology Department, ensuring high-quality radiographs and maintaining equipment. This role involves supervising staff, handling infectious waste, and participating in interviewing and evaluation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily department operations, delegate tasks, and provide leadership to ensure work results
  • Maintain radiology file records and develop department shifts, including overtime assessment and payroll processing
  • Coordinate, train, and direct staff to meet objectives, demonstrating competency and quality
  • Participate in interviewing and evaluation processes, resolve employee issues, and take disciplinary action when necessary
  • Assist the Director in quality assurance, quality control, and staff evaluation
  • Attend supervisor meetings, produce high-quality images, and follow ALARA Standards
  • Practice Radiation and MRI Safety, ensuring staff adherence to these practices
  • Oversee maintenance of radiology equipment, including MRI, CAT scan, and Ultrasound, and order radiology supplies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with department Director, fellow supervisors, and departments
  • Provide daily coverage for all Imaging modalities within scope of care based on Location needs
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of radiology, ARRT (R) registry required
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a radiology setting, prior leadership and management experience preferred
  • Experience in digital imaging
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Registered Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT R, Licensed in the State of Ohio, BLS required

Monday - Friday, Variable 1st shift hours, Full-Time
