ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Event Parking Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the safe and effective management of traffic flow in our parking facilities, warmly welcoming guests, and processing parking fees for various events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, utilizing physical skills to support operations across various areas including dressing rooms, meeting spaces, and entrances.
- Provide a friendly greeting to guests and manage ticket sales while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Handle payment transactions from guests upon entry or exit.
- Accurately count and verify ticket inventory and reconcile at the end of each shift.
- Guide vehicles to appropriate parking spots as necessary.
- Deliver security oversight and report any incidents promptly.
- Remain vigilant and attentive while on duty.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members, including using radio communication.
- Maintain cleanliness around the facility by picking up litter and debris.
- Exhibit reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong numerical abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of radio communication protocols.
- Good judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Physical capability to walk, climb stairs, lift and carry items weighing over 25 lbs, and occasionally sit.
