Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage youth and adult sports league programs and clinics, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with community groups and volunteer parent associations to facilitate organized sports programs, promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Direct participants and personnel to appropriate field locations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Monitor and enforce program and safety directives, resolving issues and coordinating with supervisors as needed.
  • Assist with light maintenance duties, opening and closing complexes, and maintaining records, files, and reports in accordance with established methods and procedures.
  • Be available for overtime and emergency call-outs, responding to and recovering from a wide range of disasters or emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent recognized certificate, supplemented by two years' experience working with adult and youth sports and clinics.
  • Possession of a valid Florida driver's license.
  • CPR and First Aid training to be completed within three months of hire.
  • Ability to interact positively with children and adults on a daily basis, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of proper coordination, implementation, and instruction of sports programs for both children and adults.
  • Ability to work independently, make effective decisions, and resolve problems effectively.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include sufficient ability to run, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods, as well as operate a motor vehicle under all weather conditions. The employee must be able to move up to 75 pounds over a distance of 100 feet and have sufficient auditory perception and speaking ability for radio communication.

Work Environment:

The work environment may involve working outside with exposure to hazardous weather, vegetation, and wildlife. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
