As the newest addition to our Global Attractions portfolio, Legends has been selected as the exclusive operator of Illuminarium Experiences. These innovative venues offer immersive entertainment that transports guests to extraordinary locations through advanced technology. After hours, these spaces are transformed for corporate and private events, as well as unique nightlife experiences.

Position Overview

The Events Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Event Sales Manager in managing all aspects of Private and Special Events. This position involves acting as the primary contact on the day of events and collaborating with various internal and external teams, including Operations, Food & Beverage, clients, and vendors. The ideal candidate is a professional, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Event Sales Manager with all aspects of Private and Special Events, including corporate and social gatherings.
  • Oversee the day-of coordination and execution of events, including setup, management, and teardown.
  • Support the sales process by creating and managing sales materials, contracts, and billing related to events.
  • Work closely with Operations and Food & Beverage teams to ensure exceptional event delivery.
  • Address customer service inquiries from clients.
  • Conduct site visits for prospective clients.
  • Participate in weekly event meetings and document outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and effectively managing time.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Events or Entertainment.
