Executive Chef Assistant

Joe Muer Seafood is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to collaborate with our Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and scheduling to optimize kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes and menus that showcase our seafood expertise.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in kitchen management software.
