About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Joe Muer Seafood. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure the highest quality food products and kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train hourly staff to maintain exceptional kitchen standards
  • Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and purchasing
  • Ensure consistent food preparation and presentation in accordance with recipes and serving standards
  • Develop and implement schedules for kitchen staff
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
