Network Engineer Position Overview:

As a Network Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, you will take on a pivotal role that includes:

  • Assisting in the formulation and establishment of the Integrated Test Event Schedule
  • Facilitating Test Planning processes and crafting Test Objectives, Data Requirements, and Test Specifications
  • Contributing to the creation of Test Designs, Test Configurations, and Test Scenarios
  • Engaging in Post-Test activities such as Lessons Learned Development and Analysis Reporting
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure adherence to schedule commitments
  • Participating in relevant meetings, reviews, briefings, and working groups

Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for this challenging position, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD+4 years of related work experience, Master+7 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Networking and Operating Systems (OS)
  • Familiarity with Solarwinds and Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Background in Networking
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites
  • Demonstrated organizational and collaboration skills through leadership roles in teams and/or in student or civic organizations, etc.

This position necessitates the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which US Citizenship is a requirement for employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is mandatory.

This position requires passing a background check and fulfilling enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cisco routers/switches (hardware/software) is required. Design, configure, stage, and install at remote sites. CCNA certification is preferred. Familiarity with Cisco UCS.
  • Experience in Configuration Management (maintaining/updating drawings/documents)
  • Experience with TacLane encryptors
  • ClearCom audio experience
  • IT Security experience
  • Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program, and/or the Missile Defense Agency.

Telework Availability: 100% Onsite but operates on a 9/80 Schedule.

Compensation Overview:
