Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for this challenging position, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Education/experience typically obtained through advanced technical education from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD with 4 years of related work experience, Master’s with 7 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Networking and Operating Systems (OS)
  • Familiarity with Solarwinds and Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Background in Networking
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills demonstrated through leadership roles in teams or community organizations.

Note: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which necessitates US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches (hardware/software) is essential. Responsibilities include design, configuration, staging, and installation at remote sites. CCNA certification is preferred. Familiarity with Cisco UCS is a plus.
  • Experience in Configuration Management (maintaining/updating drawings/documents)
  • Familiarity with TacLane encryptors
  • Experience with ClearCom audio systems
  • Background in IT Security
  • Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program, and/or the Missile Defense Agency is advantageous.

Work Arrangement:

This position is 100% onsite with a 9/80 work schedule.

Compensation Overview:
