Senior MDM Technical Lead Opportunity

Tandym Group is seeking a seasoned Senior MDM Technical Lead to collaborate with a client embarking on a Greenfield Oracle Cloud implementation. This role requires an MDM Architect to partner with the client's internal team, their System Integrator (SI), and vendors to develop a strategy for integrating legacy on-premises data into a modern cloud-based framework.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days of on-site work in Wilmington, MA, with a long-term contract engagement with a top organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Oracle SI and vendors to define the overall MDM solution, establish delivery guidelines, and review detailed designs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Bring industry and domain best practices and methodologies in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Management, Integrations, Business Intelligence, and Analytics.
  • Guide the client's business and technology teams to envision, design, and develop strategies for Master Data Management implementation, governance, and rollouts.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure scope, tasks, and resourcing are aligned.
  • Determine how the solution will be implemented based on the Solution Design Documentation.
  • Conduct architectural analysis and evaluation of business processes.
  • Support the creation of the object model and the UI definition.
  • Manage and develop assigned resources, both internal and partner.
  • Validate the design and implementation of the overall Infrastructure and perform the build and maintenance of the environments.
  • Conduct internal, partner, and customer training.
  • Design and plan testing for the impact assessment of the solution functionality.
  • Oversee and coordinate performance optimization.
  • Responsible for conducting and participating in Solution Reviews (both internally and for partners).
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in architecting and designing MDM solutions across different technologies.
  • Preferred experience migrating legacy on-premises to Oracle.
  • Agnostic with tools and technologies.
  • Proficient with Vizio, APIs, etc.
  • Must have prior experience as part of an ERP journey or consolidation.
  • Will work with vendors and partners to design data strategy and help with framework.
