Software Quality Assurance Engineer for Apple's Creativity Apps

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Apple's Creativity Apps. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our innovative tools for creative professionals, video makers, and visual storytellers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, maintain, and execute test cases with minimal direction
  • Free test without scripts and tools, and report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques
  • Balance a wide variety of deliverables, prioritizing effectively and communicating progress and risks systematically
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies related to computer vision and on-device machine learning
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering
  • Experience with digital photography, video, and in-depth knowledge of image editing software
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and processes
  • Understanding of subjective/objective image quality evaluation and color science concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Analytical, methodical, inquisitive, and persistent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple efforts simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient at extracting user scenarios from software feature descriptions and requirements
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
