About the Role

We are seeking an experienced security systems deployment specialist to join our fast-growing and dynamic team at NextGen Security.

This position will have multiple roles ranging from technical support for our technical workforce, overseeing large-scale deployments with the operations team, onsite customer meetings to address complex customer needs, system programming, and network design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and maintain enterprise-level access control systems.
  • Oversee large-scale deployments with the operations team.
  • Provide technical support for our technical workforce.
  • Design and implement network systems.
  • Program and configure security systems.
  • Meet with customers to address complex needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the security industry.
  • Experience with enterprise-level access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and video management systems.
  • Knowledge of networking and IT systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
  • Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project, and other Microsoft products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Access control system vendor certifications.
  • Video management system vendor certifications.
  • Intrusion detection system vendor certifications.
  • Experience in computer operating systems, network design, and implementation.
  • TWIC Cardholder.
