Grounds Maintenance Specialist

Position Purpose:
To execute physical tasks across various contracts, ensuring compliance with all specifications and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety protocols and perform maintenance on all equipment.
- Work under the guidance of the Lead Foreman, with a significant amount of autonomy.
- Stay informed about all contract timelines and responsibilities.
- Keep an organized inventory of supplies and tools.
- Document daily activities and maintain accurate reports.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- During off-peak seasons, assist with painting projects.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record if applicable.
- Willingness to work in various environments and weather conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Perform snow removal and painting tasks as needed.
The Kennedy Collective is dedicated to the success of our new hires, offering a comprehensive orientation and training program. New employees can expect:
- A two-week orientation including agency introductions, site tours, and employer-sponsored CPR & PMT certification.
- Two weeks of job-specific training and shadowing at the worksite.
- Regular check-ins with Human Resources after the first 30, 60, and 90 days of employment.
