Your Role in Action
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of professionals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), educators, and other healthcare experts to develop personalized treatment plans for our clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical histories and developmental needs to inform our treatment approach.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Monitor clients' health and behavior during the school day, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Empower clients' families with the knowledge and skills they need to support their child's journey beyond the classroom.
  • Forge strong alliances with external healthcare providers to ensure seamless, integrated care for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of clients' progress and treatment interventions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of best practices in ABA therapy and school nursing through team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Your Skills and Talents
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in pediatric or school nursing, with a preference for experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, committed to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each client and their family, exhibiting empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Upholds confidentiality and professionalism while fostering a supportive and empowering environment for clients and colleagues alike.
