Join Our Team as an Employee Benefits Specialist

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for an Employee Benefits Specialist to become a vital part of our Human Resources department. This role offers a hybrid remote work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to employees regarding our comprehensive benefits offerings, including health and life insurance, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records within our HRIS.
  • Oversee the annual open enrollment process, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees.
  • Assist in compliance reporting, including EEO, 1095s, SPDs, and SARs.
  • Review and process all HR and benefits-related invoices with precision.
  • Manage short and long-term disability claims and FMLA requests.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies related to employee benefits.
  • Conduct weekly orientations for new hires, providing essential information about benefits.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant State and Federal regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and DOL guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • 0-3 years of experience in benefits coordination and administration.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party brokers.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
