Job Summary:The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with the physician in either the inpatient or outpatient setting, caring for acute and chronically ill and injured patients. This role requires a strong foundation in cardiology, with a focus on providing expert care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in cardiology or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
