Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective service.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and stock levels.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and functions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Sous Chef in a similar restaurant concept or a successful Sous Chef with a reputable hospitality group.
- Successful completion of a reputable hospitality group's management training program.
- Successful completion of a Sous Chef development guide.
- Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and ability to lead high-performing teams.
