Early Learning Liaison

The Early Learning Liaison will play a vital role in supporting early learning projects, programs, and strategies for Promise South Salt Lake. This position will focus on implementing the new "Baby and You Program" in the community, building trusting relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and facilitating access to resources and improving service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Program Implementation:
- Support the development of the program framework.
- Recruit, outreach, and engage families and caregivers for the program.
- Collect qualitative and quantitative performance measures for the program.
- Facilitate the implementation of the program and become a trusted voice in the community.
- Plan child enrichment activities during the program.
- Work with community members to connect and remove barriers to accessing early learning resources.
- Promote and demonstrate respect for all community members.
- Maintain working knowledge of available community resources and empower community members with information.
- Attend community engagement events and activities.
- Act as a liaison between Promise programs, individuals, families, schools, and community organizations.
- Build genuine relationships with individuals to support overall well-being and healthy development.
- Build and maintain partnerships to enhance programming and services.
- Collaborate with the Liaison team to implement community engagement plans.
- Maintain working knowledge of early learning and child development best practices.
- Participate in training and technical assistance activities.
- Maintain records of engagement and outreach efforts.
- Attend meetings and maintain meeting notes.
- Complete grant reporting and other required documentation.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience in early learning, child development, education, and/or community engagement.
- South Salt Lake community members or those with knowledge of the community are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Preferred: Bilingual or multilingual.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, and moderately loud when in the field. Unconventional working hours may be required, including some evenings and weekends.
