Xcelerate Solutions is in search of Background Investigation Analysts who will join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting our client by evaluating investigation reports submitted by Field Investigators and Record Searchers. The goal is to ensure precision, thoroughness, and prompt delivery to the client. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of background investigation reports to confirm that investigations are thorough and comply with federal and corporate standard operating procedures and requirements.
  • Offer insights on background investigation standards to Field Investigators and Record Searchers.
  • Ensure quality output that aligns with contract specifications.
  • Detect patterns in inaccuracies and relay findings to Field Investigators, Record Searchers, and management.
  • Collaborate closely with review team members, Field Investigators, and Record Searchers to create training and guidance aimed at enhancing the quality of background investigations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of New Reviewer/Investigator Training course.
  • Ability to undergo a pre-selection process, achieving at least 80% on Credential Assessment if required.
  • Experience as a Case Reviewer supporting the specific agency as needed.
  • Capability to obtain and/or currently possess a PIV and/or CAC card if necessary.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for correspondence across various platforms, including in-person interactions.
  • Strong customer service orientation, teamwork spirit, and a commendable work ethic, including integrity and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet research skills, along with excellent time management and administrative capabilities are essential.
  • A profound sense of mission and dedication to supporting national security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous agency-specific experience in a review capacity or investigations role.
  • Prior experience in reviewing agency-specific federal background investigation reports.
