Security Clearance Requirement:

Active Top Secret Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of background investigation reports to confirm that all investigations are complete and comply with federal and corporate guidelines.
  • Offer expert advice on background investigation protocols to Field Investigators and Record Searchers.
  • Ensure quality output that aligns with contractual obligations.
  • Detect patterns in discrepancies and relay insights to Field Investigators, Record Searchers, and management.
  • Collaborate with team members and investigators to create training materials and guidance aimed at enhancing the quality of background investigations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of the New Reviewer/Investigator Training course.
  • Ability to pass a pre-selection process, including achieving 80% on the Credential Assessment if required.
  • Experience as a Case Reviewer for the specified agency.
  • Capability to obtain and/or currently possess a PIV and/or CAC card if necessary.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective correspondence across various platforms.
  • Commitment to customer service, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, including integrity and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet research skills, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • A deep commitment to supporting national security initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience within the agency in a review or investigative capacity.
  • Prior experience in reviewing agency-specific federal background investigation reports.
