About the Role:
Mettler Toledo is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in a Service Depot role. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and performance of our pipettes, which are used in various laboratories around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipette Calibration and Repair: Conduct mechanical and electronic measurements, record results, and inspect serviced pipettes against established quality and performance parameters.
- Quality Control: Reassemble and calibrate pipettes to meet manufacturer standards, ensuring all repair work meets necessary guidelines.
- Order Management: Prioritize orders and expedite them through our database system, following customers' specific order requests.
- Service Level Management: Focus on meeting our service levels and turnaround time commitments, which may include working overtime as needed.
- Reporting and Data Entry: Complete all related reports and data entry into our automated system.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED with at least three months of related work experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging.
- Desirable Skills: Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes is desirable. A strong mechanical background is essential.
