Certified Central Sterile Service Technician

Overview:

At Southcoast Health, we are committed to providing world-class healthcare to our community. We are seeking a talented Certified Central Sterile Service Tech to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification within one year of acceptance. A working knowledge of sterilization procedures, equipment management, and case cart assembly is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, record-keeping, and documentation skills. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Decontaminate surgical instruments and endoscopes
  • Prepare, sterilize, and package surgical instruments
  • Assemble case carts for surgical procedures
  • Decontaminate equipment as assigned and distribute medical and surgical supplies
  • Maintain proper documentation

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification within one year of acceptance
  • Working knowledge of sterilization procedures, equipment management, and case cart assembly
  • Excellent communication skills, record-keeping, and documentation skills

Pay Range: $16.88 - $28.00 per hour
