We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images, ensuring optimal films are submitted for interpretation.
- Facilitate MRI procedures by selecting proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate all patients, and prepare and administer contrast material as needed.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely and with modesty, utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as indicated.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to the exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within the electronic medical record accurately and on time.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and other healthcare colleagues, including radiologists.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of the MRI suite, and keep the area stocked with necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimal patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
