Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MRI Associates.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and the ability to operate MRI equipment with precision and accuracy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality diagnostic images, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to create diagnostic images of various body parts.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.
  • Work closely with radiologists to ensure successful imaging results.
  • Perform IV contrast injections and ensure accurate image upload to the PAC system.
  • Conduct weekly equipment calibration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure patient safety by pre-screening for contraindications.
  • Provide training to new technologists and maintain compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Certificate, diploma, or associate's degree in MRI technology.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Medical Technologist in clinical environments.
  • ARRT Certification and current Florida MRI License.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to use medical imaging processing software/equipment.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy for diagnosis purposes.
  • Understanding of quality control standards.

  • Ability to interact calmly with patients, radiologists, and physicians.
