Position Summary: The Project Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the logistical aspects and timelines of various projects. This position requires close collaboration with teams to formulate detailed plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that tasks are completed within the designated timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Based on the driven demand, select and prioritize available jobs for specific workstations or machines.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Contracts to assess all pending and newly received demands, assigning planner responsibilities accordingly.
  • Manage overall workload and align resources to maintain operational balance.
  • Facilitate consistent communication between planning, project accounting, and project management to ensure accurate project Material EAC's and Execution Charts.
  • Enhance existing systems, functions, and daily operations to better achieve organizational goals.
  • Maintain daily manufacturing build plans and oversee run and setup times associated with each job/product/part.
  • Create and uphold expected completion timelines for scheduled jobs.
  • Review schedules to ensure raw materials are available as needed.
  • Develop forward-looking plans for purchase requisitions and monitor material deliveries to support run schedules.
  • Ensure all external services are planned and monitored effectively.
  • Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions and highlight critical components that may impede operations.
  • Support and promote the mission, values, and culture of the company.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of planning experience.
  • High School Diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Solid grasp of business processes and functional inter-relationships.
  • Extensive experience in project material management and production planning.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

This position necessitates an active DOD security clearance or the capability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable timeframe after employment commencement.
