About the Role

Universal Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts for a 100% remote position in the United States. As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing processes and personnel to conduct quality assurance of a Pension Administration system, which includes 32 separate functional work streams with complex and diverse use cases and scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage testing efforts for a Pension Administration system, including identifying scope, effort, and resources required
  • Lead multiple projects or applications, prioritizing activities, and managing multiple priorities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define project scope, technical specifications, and test environments
  • Prepare effort estimation, lead all aspects of testing, and prepare software defect tracking
  • Present timely status to stakeholders and management, instilling confidence in the work being done
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and bridge gaps between the Testing team and Management
  • Plan knowledge transfer sessions, identify skill gaps, and plan for training and education sessions
  • Ensure QA Process and Procedures are followed, and participate in continuous improvement plans
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 years of recent experience as a QA Test Lead
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on QA experience on different platforms, such as API, Web, and Mobile applications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in leading multiple projects or applications
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and procedures
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing business and functional documents
  • Experience in STLC and Defect Life Cycle
  • Candidate will be required to prepare effort estimation and lead all aspects of testing
  • Experience working with test automation tools
  • Proven ability to simulate and execute integrated and isolated tests to analyze results, leveraging CRUD operations on large volumes of raw data using SQL
  • Experience working in various SDLC processes, including Agile
  • Experience supervising a team, reporting status to higher management, creating defect reports with resolutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation, problem resolution, and customer service
  • Expertise with MS-Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Experience testing complex enterprise applications involving Legacy systems
  • Experience in Legacy system migration projects
  • Experience with API and Web Services testing
  • Experience in Performance and Load Testing
  • Experience with Workflow systems, Case, and task management systems
  • Experience in Public Pension Systems
  • Experience with test automation scripting languages
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics
  • Experience with JIRA, Sharepoint
  • Certification as Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or Certified Associate in Software Quality (CASQ) or ISTQB certified as CTFL (Foundation Level) or CTAL (Advanced Level) or CTEL (Expert Level)
