Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

BioLite is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead product quality projects on our current line of outdoor recreation and humanitarian products. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience driving quality on hardware products and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a tracker of all open projects and issues, guiding projects to closure and maintaining accuracy of product documentation and specifications.
  • Oversee the quality of ongoing production, provide field quality feedback to the product development team, and play a critical role on the BioLite team.
  • Support Failure Analysis of hardware, firmware, and mechanical issues, and lead Field Failure Data analysis and presentation.
  • Champion process improvement, identifying needs and implementing solutions that support ongoing quality improvement at BioLite.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience driving quality on hardware products.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to take ownership of quality-related programs.
  • Experience with electronics failure analysis and fault diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical design and manufacturing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Consumer Electronics products or battery-powered products.
  • Familiarity with quality processes (Root Cause/Corrective Action, 5-Why, 8D, xFMEA, etc).
  • Experience analyzing data from a variety of sources, creating conclusions, and taking data-driven actions.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical team members of all backgrounds across the business.
  • Experience managing and organizing project deliverables across several concurrent projects.
